Abtin Yaghmaian was born in 1988 and graduated in Theatre from Sooreh University in Tehran. He began his career by performing in some commercial teasers and later in a TV series named The Wonderful World of Hamid. His passion for music led him to play drums for multiple music bands, such as Bomrani, and also composing. He was the sound engineers in a few TV series such as In chie? (means What is this?), Little Memories of a Big Man and Our Home. The Neighbors was his first step in directing animation series. In recent years he directed many commercial teasers for more than 40 brands in Iran.
He also directed a stop-motion animation series named The Musuem. The following success of the series led him to directing another series. Pouya’s Wall Clock is his latest experience in that area. He produced and directed Thou Shalt Dance, a short animation film which paved its way to more than 30 international film festivals and earned five awards.
